Fast-casual chain Thai Chili 2Go plans further expansion in Arizona

Thai Chili 2Go is a limited-service concept based in Phoenix, Ariz., that has grown to 19 locations, with plans to expand to as many as 100 restaurants, all supplied by a trading company that founder Akshat “Aks” Sethi set up in conjunction with the chain. The concept offers curries, rice and noodle dishes, and rice bowls, mostly in the $10-$11 range.

It all started because of the founder’s love for Thai food.

“My brother-in-law and I used to frequent this restaurant, Pink Pepper, in Tempe, and the chef there, just jokingly, said, ‘You guys come here so much, why don’t you open your own Thai restaurant?’
